Ascension Day falls on a Thursday in May, and is a public holiday in Finland. We usually take the whole week off for sailing and visit the Gulf of Finland National Park. At this time of the year, it’s really peaceful, usually sunny even though quite chilly.

After the great week in the Adriatic, it was still really wonderful being by ourselves and seeing how spring was coming along. This year, the week was at the end of May, and it was only three weeks to our summer holiday, so you could call this our dress rehearsal.

True to my problem with writing these posts, I had lost my interest in photography as well. At the time, I blamed it on having visited the same places so often. The real reason was probably some sort of creator’s block or depression. So the amount of pictures is limited, and the quality is even poorer.
