Shelties are are pack animals, and from the beginning we knew, that one wouldn’t be enough. The previous two had a six year age difference, and that was a bit too much. So, after summer we started to check out if there are any new litters on the way.

We were lucky again. A litter with suitable bitches had just been born, so Jaana talked with the kennel owner for a long time. We drove to the kennel a few weeks later to take a look and instantly fell in love. A week later, it was time to bring her home. In between, I took a closer look at the family tree of our newcomer, since the name of the father rang a bell. It turns out, that both our girls have the same father, so they really are sisters.

Black Sara’s Blue River a.k.a. Tähti (Star), born18.10.2022. And she is quite as mischievous as her older sister. She came home on the 5th of December.
