Well, for me the new year didn’t start off so well. I ended last year, and started this year with powerful muscle relaxing drugs due to severe back pains. The rest of the gang was running around while I could hardly get out of bed.

One thing is for sure, puppy-life galore can be expected. First things first, puppy school has to be completed. And then we have to figure out how this little gal will cope with life on the boat. We can’t start potty training onboard, and that is a bit worrying. By the time we start our season, she’ll be about six months old and probably getting set into getting out anytime she even looks like needing it.

We have already started talking about an even longer sail the coming season. Everything worked so well last summer, so we could leave earlier and work remotely before and after our holiday. We’ll see.
