At the beginning of March one always starts hoping for an early and warm spring so that one can start working on the boat. With so much snow around, that was still just a dream so weekends can be spent with other hobbies.

Taking a hike in a nature park is always a great alternative. With melting snow and running water in the streams, it really started looking as if spring was here. We enjoyed while it lasted. Little did we know that a bitter cold spell was around the corner and would slow down preparations for the sailing season.
