Wikipedia defines art as “a diverse range of human activities in creating visual, auditory or performing artifacts (artworks), expressing the author’s imaginative or technical skill, intended to be appreciated for their beauty or emotional power. ” Visiting a museum of modern art sometimes really craves your imagination and some self-restraint with your emotions.
Just after watching the latest Star Wars movie (The Last Jedi), we took a quick tour of Kiasma, the museum of contemporary art in Helsinki. This exhibition is was quite interesting and none of the pieces would find a place in my house. But then again, some of the pieces resembled rembled the ones we just saw in Naples. The ones that survived the eruption of Vesuvius. Judge for yourself. I’ll take two and a half hours of Star Wars any day instead of this.
