Time to break out the champagne! We’ve reached Finland.

We found practically no wind on our way to Hanko and motored all the way, which really wasn’t what we were hoping for. Sometimes that’s just what you get. Along the way, we could really see the state of the Baltic sea during a gorgeous hot summer. It was full of blooming algae and nobody wanted to stop for a swim.

At 1440 UTC we tied up in Hanko Itämerenportti guest harbour and it was time for a mini-party and a good sauna. Just after five in the afternoon, it was time for some goodbyes, and we helped Rio carry her bags to the train station and head home.
