The preparations are done, and the bags have been packed. Packing for a month long sailing trip is an easy task. Just take your duffel and stuff it with all the warm clothes you can fit and throw in a pair of shorts.
In this case, we have some extra gear along. Charts and books, a new AIS transponder, binoculars and courtesy flags among other things. This time around, the trusty Nikon D3200 and MacBook Air stay at home. We’re going to have to survive on a couple of iPad Pros, iPhone 7:s and a Garmin VIRB Ultra 30. That’s going to be a bit of a challenge, since I still haven’t figured out how to compress the photos and videos for uploading.
The forecast looks OK so far. Not too much wind, but not from the right direction. I guess I’ll be revising my plans on Tuesday afternoon.
Just another 2.500 km of flying and 1300 NM of sailing on the agenda for the next month.
