It’s only a short 15 NM skip to the Merikarhut harbour of Matgrufvan. It’s situated right in the middle of Ekenäs Archipelago National Park and the whole area is beautiful.
The wind was nice, but just before getting in the sky opened up. It was really pouring down, so we decided to catch a buoy and wait with tying up. Jumping on to a slippery pier is not the greatest idea one should have.
Less than an hour later, we were tied up and could explore yet another well kept private marina. This one also has quite a long history, since artefacts showing that the port has been used from Viking times have been found.
